The campsite itself is nice, very close to Palermo airport. The two shower blocks haven't been cleaned in a long time; one door has even been completely torn off, and there are no hooks to hang anything on – they're just lying on the floor. There's only a small mirror in one shower; the other has none. Hot water is available, and everything else works.
Almost everything was really good. A friendly host, a place in nature, decent and clean restrooms, and hot showers. Despite the proximity to the airport, it was very quiet. Unfortunately, we filled up with water here, which tasted extremely salty and wasn't drinkable. So now we have to change our water somewhere, which is a shame. But the place is very pleasant.
A lovely place to feel at home. Everything you need is there, and the toilets and shower are immaculate and clean. We're extending our stay.
When we arrived, the gate to the campsite was closed. A quick message and the owner came by. He greeted us warmly and showed us around. Unfortunately, the hot water boiler is still broken. The planes from the airport apparently have a night flight ban from 10 pm to 6 am. Otherwise, they are clearly audible.
Everything you need is there. The water is indeed salty. You have to expect some noise from the road and airport, but nothing major.
