About the site
☀️ Welcome to our home! ☀️ Perfectly located between the Arcachon Basin, the Dune du Pilat, Bordeaux, the great lakes of the Landes and the Bordeaux wine estates, we welcome you to our 1400m2 garden under the oak trees with swimming pool and private bathroom. Here you will have access to a sanitary area with dry toilets, a shower with hot water, a hand basin and a mirror. You can use the armchairs, hammocks, garden table and everything else in our garden. We have games, a ping-pong table, a swing... Free electricity, free coffee and tea, barbecue available on request. We live in a quiet cul-de-sac. The tents will be set up at the back of the garden. The vans will be parked in a simple garage driveway, out of sight. Maximum vehicle length: 7 meters. We offer two pitches, and you may have to share the sanitary facilities with other campers. The swimming pool is also a shared space. We will be on site during your stay; we are a family with two daughters, aged 7 and 3. Don't hesitate to come and see us if you need advice on sightseeing, equipment, or simply want to share a friendly moment with us, perhaps over a meal! A multitude of things to do: Ocean beaches (waves, surfing...) Beaches with calm waters (Arcachon Bay, lakes) Bordeaux (sightseeing, gastronomy, cultural outings) Theme parks (zoo, Aqualand, treetop adventure park, bird park, wine city, park with children's rides, go-karting...) Vineyard estate (castle visit possible) Nature outing (Dune du Pilat, typical villages, numerous guided tours available) Sea excursions (boats, paddleboarding, jet skiing...) Canoe and kayak rentals on the Leyre river ...

The sanitary area is shared with other campers The swimming pool is accessible to all campers and our family. Noise is prohibited in the evening after 9 p.m. so as not to disturb the neighborhood.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Cécile‘s place! She and her beautiful family are super sympathetic, helpful and friendly - and they love kids. The location is perfect, very quite, a local bakery and shops around the corner and a perfect starting point to visit Bordeaux and the big dune among others. Cécile shared her beautiful garden and pool with us and the kids. There is also a nice little toilet with shower for the hosts. We were allowed to use the carport which helps especially if there is a bit of rain. Cécile really took her time and gave us a lot of tips what to visit and where to go. When I had a technical problem with my van, She even helped me and drove with me to a local mechanic. That was definitely much more than one could expect. Thank you for everything, Cécile! 😊

Eine tolle Gastgeberfamilie, sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Super sauber und ein wunderschöner Garten mit Pool. Kleines und ruhiges Dörfchen. Gerne wieder.

Der Abschied fällt uns nach den 3 Übernachtungen sehr schwer . Hier ist eine wunderbare Familie Gastgeber die das mit Herz und Seele macht. Wir würden gerne wieder kommen.

Cécile, Jo and their lovely daughters are fabulous hosts, easy and quick to communicate with and very welcoming. They showed me the whole garden, the cute little shed with my own private hot shower and toilet and offered me Tea and even Dinner. Because I am always sleeping in my car (no campervan) they even offered me to stay in their guestroom for the night! In the morning I even got a cup of coffee before heading out for new adventures. Highly recommend staying with them!
