Welcome to Château du Garde, a haven of peace and discovery nestled in the heart of the first Bordeaux hillsides. Here, between the green vineyards and serene meadows, you will find an idyllic setting just 15 minutes from the gates of Bordeaux. Upon your arrival, we will be delighted to welcome you and guide you to your ideal location. We offer you the opportunity to discover local wines with a tasting offered at €8/person. We carry out the tastings at 7 p.m. at the reception of the estate. New this year, we offer electric bike rental to discover the city of Bordeaux and its surroundings. For cycling enthusiasts, a cycle path is just 800 meters from the property, allowing you to reach Bordeaux in 40 minutes for the more athletic or with an electric bike. . We also provide you with a washing area to drain black and gray water, accessible upon your arrival for €5. Come and discover the tranquility, beauty and superb wines of Château du Garde. We look forward to welcoming you and sharing with you the magic of our estate and its splendid sunset overlooking the vines. The arrival and reception were uncomplicated. We arrived late for the wine tasting, but were still able to pick up some wine. The meadow plots were a bit too large and uncomfortable for my taste, but fine for one night. Especially since the proximity to Bordeaux is unbeatable.
A quiet and beautiful spot on a large meadow in the middle of the vineyards. A large dog was running loose, but unfortunately, it was very intrusive and snatched food from the table. We had to move the rest of our dinner to the camper.
A beautiful place with a panoramic view, friendly people, and delicious wine! Highly recommended 👍🍷
Nice to be welcomed by the host inviting to a wine tasting the same night. And it was a great experience to listen to Jean Benoit about his wine and wine making. When arriving we realized that the very nice and quiet camping area was without any option of shadow. The maintenance of the dry closet could be better 😊
Jean gave me good instructions where to park since I arrived late and I couldn’t see a thing because it was very foggy! With translator we managed to let me buy some lovely bottles of his wine! Looking forward to drinking them :D
