About the site
Along the Seven Bridges Trail, you can find the perfect place to rest. Leopoldina farmhouse with 1400s hunting tower. We offer outdoor space for travelers who want to explore the Valdarno while being immersed in nature. Florence is a 45-minute drive away, and the train station is a 15-minute drive away. The house is surrounded by greenery and to access it you need to go down a short, slightly steep descent. We offer a pitch for campers and caravans (not too large) in our car park. Those who choose to stay in a tent can sleep under the olive trees and watch a beautiful sunset. For those seeking a truly unique experience, in November you can participate in the olive harvest. In the evening, you're welcome to join us for a drink. We have two female dogs in our home, who get along with everyone, your dogs are welcome. In the surrounding area, you can go horseback riding, trekking, visit the Valdarno cliffs, see country villages, and taste good food and wine. We care deeply about recycling and respecting the environment, so please leave the pitches clean. We have wonderful neighbors and we want to avoid disturbing them too much, so we ask guests not to play loud music after 10 pm. This beautiful Tuscany campsite is very quiet and offers a fantastic view. We originally planned to go on a day trip, but we enjoyed it so much that we spent the whole day at the campsite. The hostess is also incredibly friendly; we can only recommend the place! The route from the road down the hill looks sporty, but is relatively short and doable, especially if the vehicle is not too big (as also written in the description).

Just Wow! We saw the pictures on VanSite and couldn‘t really believe the place would look like that. But as we arrived we saw a beautiful tuscany house like you would see it in a movie. The view was breathtaking and the only thing you hear ist the sound of nature and sometimes the famers at work. The Hosts were also very friendly and helpful. Vittoria was not there but helped us with instructions via VanSite and Giovanni recommended us ways to get to florence, places to hang out during the hot summer days and also a typical tuscany Sweet we bought in a store closeby. We also had a really funny night with Giovanni and Vittorias selfmade Limoncello. So if you wanna try the Sweet and the Limoncello you have to come yourself. Don‘t miss this place!!

A wonderful, calm and peaceful place in Tuscany. We had a wonderful stay. The hosts are very kind persons and were helping us with finding the best way for our visit of Florence. We had nice conversations, felt welcome and comfortable. It’s a good place for people who love nature. We saw fireflies at night, some lizards and have had a little walk in the hills.

Super nice lady, great parking spot, a bit tricky to reach with a van/camper, but doable if you keep your nerve :) There is water to fill up the tank and trash cans and everything else to keep mosquitoes away etc. Thanks for the parking space!
