Monte das Louzeiras is located near the Spanish border, between Seville (180 km) and Serpa (16 km) in the Serra Adiça, nestled in a 40-hectare olive grove with around 300-year-old trees and a vineyard. On the farm there are also sheep, horses, dogs, cats, geese, chickens, peacocks, ostriches and much more. We make our wine in amphorae and oak barrels. In our shop, besides wine, you will find: olive oil, piri piri, honey, cosmetic products made from olive oil, vinegar and flavored salts and oils. We are a family business with Swiss and Portuguese roots and welcome you from the end of February to the end of December. In our park/garden we offer you breakfast, petisco (local snacks) or even a barbecue. You are welcome to use the pool with terrace and the spacious terrace surrounded by orange trees. On the nearby river Guadiana with the gorge Pulo do Lobo or the Alqueva, the largest reservoir in Europe, you can explore the impressive landscapes by canoe or boat. On foot you can reach the small village of Vale de Vargo. In 30 minutes by car you can reach the small town of Serpa, where you can visit cultural events and museums. It is considered the capital of Cante Alentejano, a traditional choral song of the region, which has been recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site since 2014.
