About the site
We decided to remove some shrubs and bushes on the edge of our pond property at our North Sea holiday paradise in order to provide a little space for self-sufficient camper vans and motorhomes. This way we can now share this beautiful spot with everyone who chooses a holiday apartment over a little more adventure... As a user of the pitch, you have access to the amenities of our North Sea holiday paradise. These include the fire pit on the pond property and, of course, the pond itself with its own small private beach. In summer, it is definitely a good idea to take a SUP tour on the sluice directly behind our North Sea holiday paradise. There's also nothing wrong with extended bike rides or long walks along the North Sea coast. The dike is only about 300 meters away, and the harbor of Fedderwardersiel is just a stone's throw away on foot (about 15 minutes). You are also welcome to take the opportunity to wash your laundry in our laundry room for a small fee (provided the equipment is not currently being used by the guests of the holiday apartments). We kindly ask you to dispose of waste properly in the designated bins and to take used glass and deposit bottles with you. Our site is not suitable for tents (especially now) as we do not yet have a toilet. Please note: a visitor's tax is levied in the municipality of Butjadingen! I stayed here for three nights. Shortly after my arrival, I was warmly greeted by the caretakers. The pitch itself is very quiet. Unfortunately, it's not sheltered from the wind, which somewhat spoiled the experience, as it was constantly drafty the entire time. This disadvantage is offset by the location. You can reach the sea in no time and the small town by the harbor is just a short walk away. I will definitely come back again. There's sure to be more to discover.
Beautiful spot in beautiful surroundings, close to the harbor. A very, very warm welcome, even for our dog. Great for bike rides along the dike. We would love to come back again.
We had a wonderful time. Everything was as described, and Fedderwardersiel was easily reachable on foot. A special thank you to Timo for the warm welcome and for letting us use the paved area on the meadow 👍 We would love to come back.
