Welcome to Northern Hesse! The pitch we can offer you is located on the edge of a charming village of 300 inhabitants and offers a magnificent view of the North Hessian Uplands. The pitch is situated behind the barn of our farm. A wonderful spot, perfect for relaxing and taking a breath of fresh air, and one that we ourselves greatly appreciate. In the village there is a country inn that is known and popular for its delicious schnitzel and moderate prices (https://www.landgasthof-wiegand.de/). In just 10 minutes by bike you'll reach Lake Singlis. The lake boasts clear water and is a very popular destination in northern Hesse. At the "Am Hafen" bistro there, you can enjoy delicious organic bratwurst and an excellent Aperol Spritz. Other destinations are easily accessible from the campsite. For example, the nearby town of Borken boasts the Hessian Brown Coal Mining Museum, featuring a very well-presented exhibition and an interesting outdoor theme park.
