About the site
Our pitch is in the beautiful village of Braunsen, a district of Bad Arolsen. Bad Arolsen with its beautiful residential castle is 7 km away. On paved ground (cobblestones) you can enjoy the view of the riding arena and the beautiful nature. There is a children's playground in the middle of the village. The Twistesee with its lido is about 2.5 km away on foot. Our motto is to be part of country life, rather than just be there... Offers such as guided pony rides make camping an unforgettable experience...

Our first camper vacation, our second and third night and directly the highlight of our vacation! Definitely for our almost 4-year-old daughter! Horses and ponies right next to the mobile home, pony rides, get a taste of the stable air. Rabbits and pigs are also a hit. The farm dogs are nice for the children too. The riding arena was the largest sandbox that our one-year-old daughter has ever seen. Phenomenal! Our children were fully taken care of. Sabrina is a super nice contact person for the little horse lovers and for the parents with regard to localities and restaurants etc. The pitch is super nice, quiet and idyllic. Water and electricity and toilet completely unproblematic. 200% recommended. We'll be back for sure!

The pitch is beautifully situated on a small pony farm. These are actually only a few meters away from the camper. Nature and the Twistesee are within easy walking distance :) Our hosts were very friendly and provided a pool for our little daughter. We were also given fresh eggs from the farm. Great experience and highly recommended :)
