Time out on the mountain

About the site

Our 2 parking spaces at 1000 m above sea level. M. with a breathtaking view of the Rhine Valley , Pfändestock and the Swiss mountains are located on the edge of the forest on a paved meadow near our hay milk farm and right next to a refreshing mud bath. This invites you to swim in the summer or offers a special place for peace and relaxation all year round. There is also a barbecue area there. In winter , the Nordic sport park's cross-country ski trail runs along our farm. So... get on the skis and let's go! It's also not far to the village lift - reachable in 5 minutes by car. Snowshoeing is also a popular sport that doesn't require you to go anywhere else... Open the door and get going! If you feel like wellness , there is a great wellness hotel very close to us (approx. 30 min walk / 10 min drive). There you can spend relaxing hours in the sauna and bathing world. A nice alternative in bad weather. :) On request , the toilet in the stable can be used (approx. 200m from the camp). About 50 dairy cows with their calves , 4 chickens and 1 cat live on our farm. You are welcome to visit and get to know our animals. Respectful and appreciative interactions are very important to us. Since Easter 2023 , we have been offering delicious ice cream made from our own hay milk , various sausages (bratwursts , grilled sausages , St. Galler , Wienerle) , veal products and mountain cheese from the Alps in our Genusshüsle. Come and enjoy! The access is via a slightly steeper asphalt road , which then leads to a gravel path. In winter , depending on snow conditions , all-wheel drive or snow chains are required. We always have a tractor ready to pull out in case of an emergency. We are happy to share this wonderful piece of earth with you. P. s.: We look forward to your booking.
