About the site
Assé le Boisne is located in the Alpes Mancelles. It is a region full of history. We are on the Normandy and Maine border. Around 1400, from the top of the castle mound, the inhabitants watched the English who camped to the north of the town. From 1562, it was the wars of religion, Catholics and Protestants who shared the town. Later, between 1793 and 1800, it was the Chouans who fought against the republican power. We have beautiful mountain landscapes and beautiful walks to do. Fresnay sur Sarthe is the main town, an old fortified town. This year it celebrates Georges Durand, co-founder of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, for the 100th anniversary of this legendary race Right next door, St Léonard des Bois, St Céneri le Gérei with canoeing and kayaking on the Sarthe, horses, quads, 4x4s, etc. Assé le Boisne has its bakery and its award-winning butcher's shop (rillettes sarthoises, black pudding, etc.) Our land is near the Madeleine chapel, a former popular place for the Templars, very present in the region. The property is closed by an electric rolling gate. You can fill up with water. You will find WC, sink and shower accessible except in winter.

Optimal für einen Zwischenstopp oder Kurztrip. Dusche, WC, überdachte Sitzecke mit Grillgelegenheit und Strom, was will man mehr. Das Anwesen ist großzügig und sauber und die Gastgeber sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Wir haben zwei ruhige Nächte auf einem ehemaligen Bauernhof bei Chantal und Michel verbracht. Schon bei unserer Ankunft wurden wir herzlich und mit großer Freundlichkeit empfangen. Chantal und Michel waren sehr nette Gastgeber, die uns immer mit tollen Tipps für Ausflüge in die Umgebung weitergeholfen haben. Wir haben uns wirklich willkommen gefühlt. Ein Ort, den wir ohne zu zögern weiterempfehlen! ———— Nous avons passé deux nuits tranquilles dans une ancienne ferme chez Chantal et Michel. Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été accueillis chaleureusement et avec une grande gentillesse. Chantal et Michel étaient des hôtes très sympathiques, qui nous ont toujours donné de bons conseils pour des excursions dans les environs. Nous nous sommes vraiment sentis les bienvenus. Un endroit que nous recommandons sans hésitation !

Mit unserem Camper haben wir eine Nacht auf dem Hof von Chantal Michel B verbringen dürfen. Trotz Sprachbarriere wurden wir super herzlich empfangen. Wer einen ruhigen idyllischen Stellplatz sucht ist hier genau richtig.
