For your "little getaway," we offer a pitch in the courtyard of our former farm, overlooking fields and woods. A place for campers, by campers. Located approximately 1.5 km outside the village of Altenholz, you can enjoy the peace and quiet of nature with views of fields and forest. The gravel-surfaced pitch measures 11 x 6 meters and is ideal for self-sufficient campers staying 1-3 nights, or even longer. Electricity is available for an additional fee. Vehicles up to approximately 7.50 m in length can be accommodated, but even up to approximately 9.50 m is possible. Also ideal as an overnight stop for the start of the ferry trip from Kiel to Scandinavia or the Baltic States, or for the journey to or from Denmark. Our property is generally in a quiet location, especially quiet in the evenings and at night, as well as on Sundays and public holidays. A connecting road with very little traffic runs along the property. The square is sunny in the morning and towards evening, and partially shaded around midday and in the afternoon. A former bus stop waiting shelter with a table and chairs invites you to linger. From the square you can directly start cycling and hiking tours on the cycle (hiking) trails of the Rendsburg-Eckernförde district and Kiel. Connection to the public transport network – bus stops to Kiel and Gettorf (700 m and 2.0 km respectively). For your physical well-being, there are many restaurants and (country) cafes in the region. You can find medical care in the shopping centers in Altenholz and numerous hospitals in Kiel and Eckernförde. And our chickens will provide you with delicious breakfast eggs upon request. :-)
