Arrive, breathe deeply, and unwind. 🌿 Parking space Surrounded by expansive pastures where a herd of cows grazes from time to time, you'll have complete privacy – the nearest neighboring house is over 150 meters away. Your pitch is situated at an altitude of 550 meters, right next to our rarely used holiday home. We hope you'll appreciate this place as much as we do – as a little escape from everyday life. Sometimes we enjoy our first coffee outside, gazing out over the valley where mist occasionally gathers. With a bit of luck, a deer might appear in the grass at breakfast, or an imposing hawk might circle overhead. In the evening, the birdsong fades away, and in the stillness, a fox calls out. From here, you can ideally combine nature, culture, and leisure activities. ➡️ Czech Republic (5 km): Shopping facilities, restaurants, petrol stations, markets and cafes in Hranice and Aš. ➡️ Bad Elster (8 km): Healing springs, brine baths & King Albert Theatre ➡️ Adorf (8 km): Botanical Garden & Miniature Landscape “Little Vogtland” ➡️ Schöneck (17 km): Ski & bike world with 260 km of cycling and mountain biking trails ➡️ Untreusee (27 km): Swimming, water sports, climbing park, mini golf & beer garden You can start your hikes directly from the campsite by following the path downhill (please only use this path – adjacent areas are private property). The 14th stage of the "Erzgebirge-Vogtland" ridge trail runs not far from the campsite. You can do your shopping in Bad Elster or Adorf; just across the border in the Czech Republic (4 km) there is a restaurant, pharmacy, hairdresser and a Travel Free Shop with a petrol station. 🚙 Directions and directions Access is via an approximately 200m long, paved uphill path and is easily navigable for campervans and motorhomes of usual size. For larger or lower-lying vehicles (from about 8 m in length or classic caravan combinations), access is only possible to a limited extent; the parking space is not intended for use by such vehicles. The parking area consists of paved and partially unpaved grassy areas in a natural, agricultural setting. Depending on the weather, some areas – especially near the fountain – may be somewhat softer. Use of the parking space, as well as entering and driving on the grounds, is at your own risk. The accessibility and stability of the surface may vary depending on the weather and should be checked on site. In case of snow or ice, the access road will not be cleared and may therefore be more challenging; a grit box is available along the road. Open fires are only permitted in the designated fire pit and only under suitable weather conditions and in compliance with the applicable forest fire risk level. ⚠️ Please note: Tent pegs or ground anchors may only be driven in up to the level of the fire pit. An underground cable for the well water supply runs above this level. The person responsible for damage caused by improper use is liable.
