About the site
In the heart of the Sila Greca, about 18 km from the town of Acri, the pitch is located near my farm and home. From here, you can easily reach the Ionian Sea and enjoy a magnificent Mediterranean panorama. You can also climb towards the peaks of Camigliatello, crossing the Sila National Park and following the road that connects the three main lakes of the Calabria region. You can also visit the farm and enjoy absolute tranquility surrounded by unspoiled nature.

We spent two nights at Francesca's place. The campsite is in a stunning location, with a magnificent view over the landscape of the Sina National Park. Francesca and Francesco were very welcoming and hospitable. On our first evening, they surprised us with homemade focaccia, mozzarella, and cheese. The toilet was very clean and functional. Electricity is available. A top spot for anyone who appreciates peace, nature, and simplicity! Thank you Francesca and Francesco❤️
Such a beautiful place! Many different animals—dogs, cats, cows, and horses. Francesca & Francesco took us into the stables, where we could see the calves. We were able to sample their own cheese and bought some to take home. The restrooms are clean and right next to the site. The view and sunset are breathtaking. A little paradise for anyone who loves peace and nature.
It was so beautiful that we stayed here again for two days on our way back from Sicily. It's one of our top three VanSite spots. We read in the previous review that the road was described as difficult – we can't confirm that. Yes, there are a few switchbacks, but the road is well-maintained and easily navigable, even without special driving skills. Anyone who has ever driven on a typical paved mountain road will find this no challenge. So don't worry – the journey is worth it and definitely doable!

A super friendly welcome, a great place, you just have to be brave enough to make the climb up. We felt very comfortable as the first guests, although we were a bit unlucky with the weather. Thank you so much for everything.
