Our spacious camping meadow is nestled among forest, meadows, fields, and old trees. You can expect plenty of space, panoramic views, and both sunny and shady pitches. Since there are only a few pitches, the atmosphere remains peaceful and close to nature. Cattle graze in the adjacent pasture at certain times. The campsite is suitable for self-contained tents, rooftop tents, campervans, motorhomes, and caravans. Families, hikers, mountain bikers, and guests with dogs are welcome. Dogs must be kept on a leash on the premises. - equipment On-site amenities include a composting toilet, good 5G reception, and mobile electricity and water available for an additional fee. A cable reel is required for the electrical connection. Barbecuing is permitted. Campfires in the provided fire pits are possible by prior arrangement and subject to dry conditions and the risk of forest fires. A sauna is available upon request. A small slide in the woods is available for children. Quiet hours begin at 9 pm. - Location and excursion destinations The nature campsite near Erbach is easily accessible from Frankfurt, Darmstadt, Mannheim, and Heidelberg. Erbach and Michelstadt are just a few minutes away and offer historic old towns, cafés (tip: Brotal), shops, Erbach Castle, the German Ivory Museum, and the Brudergrund Wildlife Park. Mountain bikers can reach the challenging Mi1 mountain bike circuit near Michelstadt, which is approximately 25 kilometers long, with 750 meters of elevation gain and long sections of singletrack. The Beerfelden Bike Park, with its freeride, downhill, and enduro trails, is also easily accessible. Cycling, gravel, hiking, and running routes start in the surrounding area.
