About the site
A campsite in a natural setting on a rustic Andalusian ranch with a great view! Dogs and horses are welcome! The small ranch is picturesquely situated on the outskirts of town, directly on a large cañada. A hidden, peaceful retreat A place to breathe deeply and enjoy country life, without curious glances from neighbors. The ranch has NO electricity, apart from solar lighting, but it does have a normal water connection! A small kitchen can be used communally. There is also a toilet in the room. A mobile pool and an outdoor shower, with cold water or heating via solar energy, provide refreshment. The veranda is a cozy, shady spot to enjoy the great view into the distance. The stars twinkle here at night! We can also do your laundry privately (approx. €4) and recharge your power banks. The internet connection from common providers is consistently good on the premises. Guests are welcome to help themselves to produce from our organic garden and ask the chickens for a breakfast egg. A sunshade can be stretched over the large parking space (approx. 120 m2) next to the barn, and this parking space can also be enclosed separately if desired. Well-behaved dogs are welcome to roam freely, provided they do not disturb other campers. The camping area is fully fenced. Even though the ranch is (almost) completely isolated, campers can feel safe here. The small private road is closed at night. (Of course, you can get a key if you wish) You can quickly walk, cycle, or stroll into the village via side paths. (only 2.5 km / approx. 15-20 min on foot) The road to the sea (approx. 30 min) is close to the ranch. Due to the partially paved private road and the 90° entrance to the ranch, these pitches are only suitable for vans, smaller motorhomes or caravans and tents. You have a maximum of 4.50 m to make the turn! (Tractor + trailer fits in!) The ranch houses several mules/donkeys for trekking tours and Western-style riding/cutting. It is therefore designed in a rustic style to evoke a genuine cowboy feeling. Here, in the heart of the breeding grounds of Andalusian horses and fighting bulls with endless expanses, freedom-loving renegades get their money's worth! A fire pit can also be used as a barbecue; only in the height of summer do you have to make do with the gas barbecue (also available) because of the increased risk of fire. Accommodation for 1-2 horses in a large paddock would be easily possible on the ranch. Please inquire beforehand. Rancho La Muleta is recommended for campers who love being close to nature, quiet and secluded; without any frills. Especially suitable for solo travelers or older camping enthusiasts who want to discover and enjoy Andalusia in peace and quiet! With us, you and your equipment are absolutely safe and privately accommodated. Of course, we are happy to provide tips as a local guide upon request! German, English and Spanish are spoken here. At Rancho we expect guests who appreciate the simple, authentic Andalusia and love nature! There isn't much comfort, but there's a great view, solitude and peace. You can barbecue as you please, but during the hot months only with a gas grill (which can be provided). Coal or open fires are prohibited during the summer due to the risk of fire. We ask for your understanding. The ranch is also home to dogs, chickens, and mules, which sometimes raise their voices, as do the fighting bulls in the surrounding area. You should therefore prepare yourselves somewhat for country life. At night, however, it is usually very quiet.
Location
You can cancel your booking free of charge up to 24 hours before your arrival date and receive a full refund. If you cancel later, you only pay for the nights you have already stayed.
Additional services (e.g., bread delivery, bike rental) are not affected by the cancellation policy and are fully refundable. Additional overnight costs (electricity, fresh water, toilet, and shower), however, are subject to the regular cancellation policy. Additional services and additional overnight costs cannot be canceled individually.
Regardless of the selected cancellation policy and the type of booking, the VanSite service fee will be retained in full for every cancellation.
