About the site
The campsite is located on our property directly on the Fulda River. You'll park in a small parking area off a side street. In front of you is the meadow and your exclusive spot on the riverbank with a view of the picturesque monastery. The Fulda invites you to swim and paddle, and the campsite is perfect for relaxing, grilling, and enjoying a glass of wine. The R1 cycle path and a hiking trail pass right by the campsite. With a bit of luck, you might spot a kingfisher on the bank or a beaver swimming by. We look forward to welcoming you! The toilet and shower are available for your use on our property next to the house. Kayaks or rowboat available on request! The space is large enough for a vehicle up to a maximum length of 6 meters!

Site rules
We have children and use the property in the summer for swimming and occasionally for playing. Please don't let that disturb you. We would appreciate it if you left the place tidy.

Sehr schöner Platz direkt an der Fulda - Wiesenstreifen mit schattigem Baum und Zugang zum Fluss (grandios bei dem beiden Wetter). Aber man steht auf einer kleinen Parkbucht zwischen Häuserzeile, Straße und Fluss - für's Dachzelt nicht ganz ideal, für'n Bus sicher super. Gegenüber am Haus schöne Toilette mit wunderbar heißer Dusche!
Wir waren begeistert von diesem schönen Plätzchen Erde, das Meike uns hier für eine Nacht zur Verfügung gestellt hat 😍. Absolute Empfehlung!
Ein sehr freundlicher Empfang der Gastgeber. Und ein sehr schöner Platz, mit Zugang zum Wasser. Leider mussten wir dann doch weiter. Sehr zu empfehlen
Danke an Michael und Meike für die tolle Gastfreundlichkeit. Der Platz direkt am Ufer ist Bombe und die Gegend lädt exklusiv zu Rad fahren ein. Mal schauen, vielleicht klappt es ja noch mal 🙋♂️
Ich wurde super freundlich empfangen und war wirklich sehr glücklich, diesen wunderschönen Stellplatz bei Meike gefunden zu haben. Auch wenn es sich „nur“ um eine Parklücke vorm Haus handelt, so hat man durch die Wiese und einen Baum, der Schatten spendet, sowie den direkten Zugang zum Fluss, ein kleines Paradies direkt vor der Camper-Tür. Ich komme gerne wieder!
