The Jubelitzsee is a nearly 11-hectare natural area with trees, meadows, moorland, reeds, and a now smaller lake area (swimming is not allowed there). There is a great diversity of species there. Many birds/birds of prey (which also breed there)/amphibians, as well as red and wild boar and foxes, etc., can be discovered and observed if you move quietly and carefully and take some time to observe. The village center, the old heart of Fahrland, is about 200 meters from the entrance. Here you'll find a bakery with a café, a restaurant, a smokehouse, a hairdresser, and shops for everyday needs. Several buildings and the church are also well worth seeing. Lake Fahrland is about 500m away. Behind the entrance gate of the site there is a small, semi-paved parking area with trees which is also well suited for larger campers. A little further on, along an unpaved path, near an adjacent farm building, there is another smaller parking area right next to a small field under/next to trees. This is a good spot for parking a vehicle up to the size of a VW camper van. Off-road capability can be very helpful in heavy rain. Adjacent to the property are horse paddocks with goats and horses in a pasture. From the parking area, you can hike very far along field paths, past fields and meadows. -There are no sanitary facilities or waste disposal options on site. -Guest Wi-Fi is available in the front parking area. Solar power can be used if the sun is shining and after prior arrangement. -Use and access to the areas is at your own risk. Dogs must be kept on a leash due to the many wild animals in the area.
