The Jubelitzsee is a nearly 11 hectare natural area, with trees, meadows, moors, reeds and a now smaller lake area (although you cannot swim there). There's a huge variety of species there, including many birds, birds of prey (which also breed there), amphibians, red deer, wild boar, foxes, and more. You can discover and observe them, provided you move quietly and carefully and take a little time to observe. The town center, the old center of Fahrland, is about 200 meters from the entrance. Here you'll find a bakery with a café, a restaurant, a smokehouse, and a hairdresser, as well as shops for everyday needs. Several buildings and the church are also worth seeing. Fahrlander See is about 500m away Directly behind the entrance gate of the site there is a small, semi-paved parking area with trees, which is also suitable for larger campers. A little further on, along an unpaved path, near an adjacent farm building, there is another smaller parking area right next to a small field under/next to trees. This is a great place to park a car up to the size of a camper van. Off-road capability can be very helpful in heavy rain. Adjacent to the property are paddocks with goats and horses on a pasture.
