About the site
Welcome to my mini-campground. 🚌 🏕️ The site is located in the Westerwald, near the towns of Bad Marienberg and Hachenburg, a few meters outside the village. 🏡 Here you can relax, enjoy nature, observe various wildlife in the morning and evening, and much more. 🌲🐿️🦌 If you're coming with your kids, the lawn is big enough to run around, play, and explore.⚽️🪃🏹🛷🔎🌾 There's hardly any through traffic. In the evening, you can admire the starry sky 🌌 around a campfire. A permanent fire pit is available for your campfire, and firewood is also provided. 🪵 🔥 If needed, I can set up a tripod with a grill for you. 😉 Your camp is a good starting point for numerous possible mountain bike tours 🚵 through the Westerwald and into the neighboring Siegerland region. The towns of Bad Marienberg 🏠 (indoor pool, sauna area, restaurants, wildlife park) and Hachenburg 🏰 (great old town, brewery, castle) are conveniently and easily accessible by mountain bike. From the square, you can access farm and forest paths directly without having to travel along main roads, so nothing stands in the way of extended hikes. In the village you will find a supermarket 🛒, a bakery 🥖, a snack bar and a pizzeria🍕. If you want to come with more than one vehicle and your friends, just ask, we'll definitely find a solution. For vehicles longer than 7.5 meters: Please let me know. I'll explain the access to the area, and you can decide for yourself whether it's suitable for you. I would be delighted to welcome you to the Westerwald soon!

Site rules
Your vehicle should be self-sufficient, including the necessary electricity 🔌, water supply 🛁 and toilet 🚽. Any waste generated must be taken away and disposed of by yourself.🚮 A fire pit has been set up for your campfire. A certain amount of firewood is always available for you. Of course, you are also welcome to use your own wood. If the fire risk is extremely high in summer due to prolonged drought, the firewood storage area will remain empty and open campfires are not permitted. The ashes may remain in the fire pit. Otherwise, a certain amount of common sense is required when dealing with fire 🔥😃 Wood is stored and processed on the site; if the owner (me) is working there (occasionally on weekends), I ask for your understanding.

Vielen Dank für diesen tollen Platz!❤️ Es war absolut unkompliziert und schön bei Euch. Wir haben die Ruhe und Natur genossen und uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Auch die Gegend, hat sehr viel zu bieten. Wir kommen sehr gern bald wieder…. Viele Grüße!

Ich bin quasi Wiederholungstäterin und es war genauso genial wie beim ersten Mal: super gepflegt, sehr ruhig (diesmal ohne Geräusche aus dem angrenzenden Industriebetrieb) und einfach toll gelegen. Wir hatten eine herrlich entspannte Nacht. Der Kontakt zu Karl war ebenfalls wie beim ersten Mal sehr freundlich, sehr schnell, man fühlt sich willkommen! Also wir kommen sehr gern wieder!

Ein schöner, ruhiger Platz am Ortsrand von Weitefeld bei einem netten und total unkomplizierten Gastgeber, der die Freude am Camping und an schönen VW Bussen teilt! Da war es schon fast ein bisschen ärgerlich, dass ich diesmal mit dem Ducato unterwegs war… 😅 Direkt vom Platz aus kann schöne Spaziergänge durch Wiesen und Felder unternehmen. Ideal, wenn man mit Hund reist. Wenn ich das nächste Mal in der Gegend bin, komme ich sehr gerne wieder! Und dann hoffentlich auch mit dem passenden Fahrzeug… 😜

Wir haben uns auf dem gepflegten Wiesenstellplatz sofort wohlgefühlt. Besonders der Abend an der Feuerstelle und die entspannte Zeit in der Hollywoodschaukel waren echte Highlights. Dazu ein super netter Gastgeber – wir kommen auf jeden Fall gerne wieder!
