We were contacted by Serena immediately after booking because the campsite was unfortunately unusable due to a fire. We were offered alternatives, and in the end, we were able to stay on Serena and her family's private property by their garden. What an honor! We were welcomed with delicious almond pastries, had a very pleasant night, and were even given fresh eggs from the chickens in the morning. Serena and her family are wonderful, kind-hearted hosts, and we felt very comfortable and safe with them. This emergency solution worked out perfectly. We might not have even had the chance to meet them at the regular campsite... Thank you so much!
