About the site
Welcome to the Teutoburg Forest We offer a site half surrounded by forest, right on the mountain. You can stand almost invisibly and enjoy the time out at the 🔥 in the evening. In terms of hiking, there are the Externsteine/Herrmansdenkmal/Vogelpark/Falkenburg and much more to discover. Signposted circular hiking trails directly on site. Germany’s largest eagle observatory is located in the immediate vicinity. REWE/bakery/tobacco shops are located about 2 km away in the neighboring town. There is also a Sparkasse ATM. We are available for further tips and questions. During the summer months there is a heated outdoor swimming pool down in the village. Toilet and cold shower available upon request (extra charge) / also cold drinks/ice cream in summer We look forward to seeing you A note about booking: Children up to 12 years of age do not need to be declared as an additional person if they sleep with you in the vehicle. We really enjoyed the peace and quiet amidst nature and right on the edge of the forest! Thank you for letting us stay here, and we believe there will be much more to come in the future. There's so much to discover all around, our two nights were actually far too short! Simply thank you🥰

I received a very friendly and warm welcome. The nearby sights were well explained and are within walking distance. At night, deer and wild boar could be seen and heard, which I personally found fantastic. I can highly recommend this place.

A super beautiful place! We received a warm welcome from Jenny and had a truly wonderful break right by the forest. You can start hiking directly from the site, and we had a lovely campfire in the evening! Thanks to Jenny and Sebastian :)
