About the site
In San José de la Rinconada, just 10 kilometres from Seville, we live in a small oasis of half a hectare completely populated by trees. Orange trees, lemon trees, fruit trees of all kinds and deciduous trees coexist with a Permaculture garden, a pond full of life and an earth house. The connection to the city of Seville by public transport is excellent via train and bus (15 minutes to the centre of Seville). On our farm we have plenty of shade, water, the singing of birds and a very close town (10 minutes on foot) with everything necessary in terms of shopping, gastronomy and leisure.

Site rules
✔ The running water is well water and is not drinkable. We bring drinking water from a nearby spring. We ask you not to waste it and enjoy it. It is a liquid treasure. ✔ We make compost with kitchen waste. We can explain what can be incorporated in case you want to add some of your food waste to the composter. ✔ The hygiene and cleaning products we use are biodegradable, since the water from the showers and sinks goes directly into the ground and is used for irrigation. Please bring organic shampoo, soap and toothpaste. If you cannot find it, you can buy it in the village, in San José de La Rinconada. We will tell you where. ✔ Important: bring a flashlight to walk through the countryside at night. ✔ Our toilets are composting toilets, ecological dry toilets, they work without running water and do not pollute or generate waste water. Upon your arrival we will explain how they work, why we use them and the handling they require. We will ask you to help us if you use them. ✔ We have hot water in the indoor shower, and for the summer months a cold water shower outside and a pool. ✔ Please bring your towel. ✔ We have a lot of mosquitoes, please bring something you can use to protect yourself from them and that is as non-chemical as possible (long sleeves and long pants with socks is best!). ✔ We depend on the weather for many things! Seville is quite extreme in that aspect. The best way we know to deal with it is to hide from the sun during the hottest hours of the day, drink lots of water and enjoy the pool and the shade of the trees, as we have this blessing. Cover your head and avoid direct sunlight. ✔ Very important: smoking is not allowed inside the cottages and, since we are in the countryside and there is a high risk of fire, if you smoke, never throw cigarette butts on the ground. Please, if you want to smoke, please limit yourself to the table area, where the ashtrays are. ✔ We do not allow drugs on the farm, nor loud music or excessive noise. Let's all take care of the inhabitants, humans and animals on the farm and its surroundings. ✔ It is advisable to bring suitable and comfortable footwear. We are on a rural and permacultural farm (it is not a rural accommodation or a campsite) the earth will be your second skin. ✔ The atmosphere will be very familiar. Let's take care of each other, communication and sharing our needs and experiences is a good way to enjoy and discover. Cancellation policy
For a full refund, you must cancel at least 7 days before your arrival date. If you cancel between 3 and 7 days before arrival, you will receive a 50% refund. If you cancel less than 3 days before arrival, no refund is possible.
Additional services (e.g., bread delivery, bike rental) are not affected by the cancellation policy and are fully refundable. Additional overnight costs (electricity, fresh water, toilet, and shower), however, are subject to the regular cancellation policy. Additional services and additional overnight costs cannot be canceled individually.
