Zollverein Coal Mine, Ruhr Museum, festivals such as the Extraschicht, the Gourmet Mile or events such as concerts or open-air cinema, all within walking distance. (Approx. 1.5 km) In winter you will find an ice rink at Zollverein. In summer you can cool off during the NRW summer holidays in the free factory swimming pool. Essen and the surrounding area can be easily explored by bike along former railway lines and slag heaps. Essen city center is only about 4 km away. Shopping 🛍️ and gastronomy without end.
