About the site
Own property, quietly located on the edge of the village with a fire barrel. Riding area nearby. Cycling and hiking are possible directly from the site. Swimming pool in the nearby town of Frankenberg. In Geismar there is a village museum 5 minutes walk from the site, as well as a pizzeria and a bakery with a café. From the site you can look directly out over the Sauerland and the Kellerwald National Park.

You couldn't ask for anything better! Very fast, reliable, and friendly communication, a beautiful pitch with a fire pit, toilet, darts, badminton, and animal neighbors. We felt very comfortable and enjoyed our night in the small orchard! ♥️

Stefan's place is well maintained and is beautifully situated just above the village without any direct neighbors. A nicely planted fence provides privacy and you can close a gate behind you. A toilet block with a clean, separate toilet is located to the right of the site, and Stefan offers his guests the use of a seating area or the fire barrel. Unfortunately, we were unable to light a fire due to the heavy drizzle. Although the first 10 meters are paved and the lawn is well-maintained, I was unfortunately unable to turn my Crafter around in the back of the garden because it got stuck in the damp, soft soil. A barely visible slight hill made reversing impossible. Stefan is an attentive, friendly host who greeted me personally and tried to help me with wooden boards. Unfortunately, this didn't work out, so Stefan was fortunate enough to organize a trekker (despite it being a holiday) to pull me out the following day. Stefan was available at all times and asked about our well-being. Overall, a nice spot—but for a 3-meter-high vehicle, it's not ideal due to low fruit trees (I installed a solar panel), as several branches extend into the maneuvering area. Probably ideal for smaller vehicles—or even larger ones during a dry period.

I really liked the campsite. The place is tidy, and the restrooms are clean. Very friendly communication. A pizzeria and a bakery are within walking distance. I'd love to come back. :)
