With our selected pitches, we want to make a further contribution to the recreational function of the forest and create a legal variant of camping for you in the middle of nature / directly by / in the forest. Located in the southern Solling, the gravel pitch is within sight of Nienover Castle. From here you can not only explore the picturesque open landscape, the medieval house or the Solling forests, but also the nearby pasture forest, where Heck cattle and Exmoor ponies permanently continue the ancient pasture forest management. With the wildlife park, attractive hiking routes and other sporting attractions, the Solling offers an all-round exciting nature experience. Pure nature. Make your stay a real experience. Whether you are looking for peace and quiet, a nature lover or an adventurer: there are no limits to your options. Like all our pitches, this one is also aimed at self-sufficient campers. Departure is normally at 10:00 a.m. Another small note: Our forests are popular with many people, so other forest visitors can occasionally park for a while on our remote parking spaces. Don't be surprised, some of the forest paths are occasionally used for forestry. Für mich persönlich war der Platz nicht nutzbar. Es handelt sich hier um einen offiziell ausgewiesenen Wanderparkplatz der rege genutzt wird. Der Platz ist schief, so dass man es selbst mit großen Keilen nur begrenzt ausgeglichen bekommt. Eine separate Stellfläche für Vansite ist nicht ausgezeichnet, so dass bei meiner Ankunft kein Platz auf dem Parkplatz frei war. Selbst nach längerem Warten wurde kein Stellplatz frei wo ich mit meinem 6,40m Van hätte stehen können. Ich musste dann meine Reise ohne Übernachtung fortsetzen. Wenn man schon 10€ für eine Buchung bezahlt, dann gehe ich davon aus, dass eine entsprechende Stellfläche gekennzeichnet und frei ist. Ich habe diesbezüglich mit dem Betreiber Kontakt aufgenommen. Fazit: Als Vansiteplatz nicht nutzbar oder zu empfehlen.

A good 3 stars. The site is quiet and idyllic, which was a positive. However, firstly, there was very little privacy, and the pitch was very crowded with other cars. A corner designated for van site bookings would have been welcome. Secondly, the pitch was very slanted, so we absolutely needed our leveling wedges, otherwise it would be uncomfortable to sleep on. Thirdly, we wanted to plan and book a few things for the trip, but there was hardly any internet access. Generally, you don't expect that in a natural forest setting, but since it's stated in the ad, this is only partially true (perhaps depending on the provider). Therefore, a positive 3 stars; perhaps for a few euros less, we would gladly stay again.
