On the western side of my land, this pitch is cradled by the soothing shade of pine trees and adjoins a shelter equipped with electricity, perfect for campervans and lovers of the donkeys carefully raised on site. For hiking enthusiasts, the "Cases de Pène - Tour del Far" trail (can be discovered here: https://it.wikiloc.com/percorsi-escursionismo/66402d-cases-de-pene-tour-del-far-159836516). Less than 15 km away, you can explore the Château de Quéribus, a jewel of Cathar architecture, as well as the picturesque village of Cucugnan, famous for its windmill. We had a wonderful time at Christophe's farm with all the animals: donkeys, alpacas, llamas, dogs, chickens, geese, turtles, etc. We were especially taken with the loving mini donkeys. They are very sociable, attentive, and love to cuddle. Christophe is a friendly host. We were able to help the alpacas and donkeys move between pastures and learn more about the farm. Christophe produces his own organic fig vinegar, jam, and harissa and sells them along with fresh eggs from the farm. The site is large, with plenty of room for campers. There's a large shelter with seating and tables, electricity, lighting, a sink, and a refrigerator. There's also a playground. The nearby forest invites you to take a walk. Access to the property is via a narrow road through vineyards. As long as there are no oncoming vehicles, it's also easy to drive in a motorhome. We would love to visit again. Thank you for the wonderful time 🌿

Very quiet campsite, friendly donkeys and dogs. One star deducted for the three very pushy geese, whose watering hole is directly opposite the restroom and who react very aggressively to visitors.

My first stay through vansite was truly wonderful. Christophe is such a kind and whimsical host and his farm is full of charming animals. :) I loved waking up to the beautiful landscape and the peaceful views all around from my van. All the amenities were excellent, I didn’t miss a thing. Christophe‘s humor and welcoming nature made the stay even more special. A very sweet and cozy experience, I will definitely be back. :)

A very beautiful, quiet, and relaxing place with a stunning backdrop and plenty of animals. A guided tour with the host (for a fee) is worthwhile; it's very informative, and you can pet donkeys and ponies. The free-roaming geese take some getting used to. There are also five very large dogs, but they are very friendly (and with children). Great amenities for campers, with electricity, an outdoor sink, and tables with lights. We highly recommend this place!

Definitely a great place for animal lovers with a truly fascinating landscape. Christophe is super nice, and he even has a few things you can buy to try. The restrooms were rather rustic. I'd happily go back. Best regards
