Very nice, quiet place and helpful hosts.

Those seeking peace will find it here. The site is located between gardens, a pasture, and a quiet road with views of the wide, open countryside. It's somewhat uneven, so the vehicle may need to be leveled with the help of tools. There are no shops or amenities within walking distance, so you should be self-sufficient. Hiking and cycling in the immediate vicinity are possible and pleasant, as the traffic is truly "rural" and the residents are not inclined to speed. The hosts are pleasantly friendly and approachable, without being intrusive. You'll be left alone without a word if your behavior indicates this, but the host is also willing to have a friendly, pleasant chat. This won't be the last time I stay here and I thank my hosts for the peaceful and relaxing time.

It's a place with a good energy, perched atop a quiet hill with fantastic views, thanks in part to the friendly couple who live there. One of the recreational spots very close to Cologne city center with a great barbecue option. Thank you!
