About the site
Welcome to the Birkenhof farm in the beautiful Vogelsberg region. We are delighted to welcome you to our beautiful village of Willofs, surrounded by forest. At Birkenhof, cats, some cattle and pigs, as well as chickens have found a home. You are welcome to bring your horses! :) They can graze right next to the camper in our beautiful orchard. This service, like the following ones, can be added for a small additional fee. * Beer garden set, tent or large parasol The Vogelsberg region offers first-class hiking trails and leisure activities for the whole family! The castle town of Schlitz, only 8km away, invites you to stroll around. A children's playground is within walking distance. Great guy and really nice location on the edge of town.

A beautiful, quiet, large meadow. Not entirely flat, but no problem with wheel chocks. Cell reception and internet weren't great for me with TD1 and O2. Great for relaxing and chilling.

After some initial difficulties, as we couldn't use the original spot, we were offered a great alternative. We were completely alone at the edge of the forest, with a fantastic view, and had a lovely, quiet night with some very curious 🦊 visitors. Very kind and helpful hosts 🫶🏻

We stopped here for one night. Despite our late arrival, everything went smoothly. The next morning we felt a bit like we were being watched, but that was only because of the surrounding houses.

Nice place, if I was standing correctly 😉 Communication wasn't so easy (there was no response to my message at first), but after the first unsuccessful call, I received a very friendly call back immediately. Luckily, I had water in a canister with me. Mobile data was almost non-existent.
