Away from the road, you can enjoy the peace and quiet surrounded by cornfields. There are a total of three parking spaces on the site. At the moment, there are two Dutch bikes available, which I can make available for short trips or shopping by arrangement. There is also a bookcase for days with bad weather, which you can use to your heart's content (currently by arrangement, until the outdoor area is finished). As it is a bookcrossing cupboard, it is no problem at all if you cannot finish reading the book during your stay. You are welcome to take the books with you and travel around the world with you. I would just ask that you do not throw the books away, but keep them or pass them on after reading them in the bookcrossing style. There is also a cupboard with board games and puzzles that you can use. However, please treat the games with care and leave them on site so that the next guests can enjoy them too. As I work full-time myself, I cannot be on site permanently. Arrival and departure are organized so that everything runs smoothly. The bathing lake with playground, fitness area and volleyball court "Kieselbucht" is a 5-minute walk away. Shops are also nearby and can be reached on foot in about 10 minutes. Directly opposite is "Textil Blumenfeld", a clothing store that invites you to browse and shop with great advice. If you're a little hungry or looking for great places to visit, there's a little "discovery corner" next to the door. Here I'll have a selection of my personal recommendations ready for you to discover for yourself. The discovery corner isn't quite complete and ready yet. But I'm also happy to give you personal tips 😉 Please note that you'll be parked with your vehicles under old trees. If a storm is announced, like in February 2022, for example, there's a risk to life there. That's why I've taken precautions and can set up six emergency sleeping places in the house at short notice. Then you'd have to move a little closer together for the duration of the storm and make yourself comfortable in front of the fireplace with a cup of tea or coffee until the storm is over. Otherwise, I'd have to recommend leaving early. The pitches are individually designed, but are still under development. So I'm of course open to praise and criticism, but also to ideas. After all, you should be able to feel comfortable in my home.
