About the site
The campsite is located along a quiet mountain ridge in a secluded location in southeast Styria, with idyllic views extending to the Karawanks in the southwest and the Schöckl, Graz's local mountain, in the northwest. The entire property, including the campsite area, is fenced in, allowing children and pets to roam freely. A local grocery store (Spar supermarket) is located just 2.5 km away in the next town, thus fulfilling any last-minute needs. The Styrian Volcanic Region, surrounded by cycling and hiking trails and numerous wine taverns, invites you to relax and recharge your batteries with nature. Whether swimming and wellness in Bad Gleichenberg or Radkersburg (16 km/24 km) with golf courses, the southeast Styrian wine and culinary region (7 km), the South Styrian Wine Route (18 km), or Riegersburg Castle (27 km) are all nearby. Well, what can we say? The Pein family is an incredibly lovely family. We received a very warm welcome. We immediately felt at home, as if we'd known each other for a long time. Karl and his wife run a hobby farm here with bees, chickens, Cameroon sheep, and ducks. Truly fantastic. We highly recommend this place. Totally quiet and idyllic. 😊 We will definitely come back and hope to hear new stories from the Pein family. We really enjoyed our stay with you. 🥰

We spent a wonderful night with Carl and the family. A great property, fantastic views, and fenced-in space for the dog. A very friendly host! We'd happily come back! Water and electricity are available, which is really great.
