About the site
We offer a meadow directly on the nature reserve near Westerburg. Surrounded by forest and meadows, away from the roads, you will be greeted by neighing horses, chickens and peacocks. Directly adjacent to our property is the former Westerburg military training area, which is ideal for wonderful hiking tours. The Westerwaldsteig trail also passes nearby. Also not far away are the Wiesensee, the Dreifelder Weiher, the Holzbachschlucht, the Stöffel Park and many other attractions. At the nearby airfield, you can book sightseeing flights over the Westerwald on weekends in summer. It is also possible to take a drive in one of our vintage Cadillacs right on site. There is an electricity connection at our house. A cable, ideally with a cable drum, has to be laid across the street to get to the parking space. The street is a dead end that only leads to our property. There is fresh water in the toilet in the courtyard. Unfortunately, we do not have a water connection on site.

Dogs are welcome here. However, as our peacocks run free, we ask that you keep the dogs on a leash if their hunting instinct is aroused.

Ein sehr ruhiger gemütlicher Platz. Am Waldrand sind sowohl Sonnen als auch Schattenplätze vorhanden. Gerne wieder.

Ein toller Stellplatz, eine herrliche Landschaft, viele Tiere und eine super liebe Gastgeberin! Wir waren auf Durchreise für eine Nacht zu Gast und kommen sehr gerne wieder. Susanne ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, der Platz ist ruhig und bietet tolle Wanderwege in einem NABUschutzgebiet. Wir wussten gar nicht, was Pfauen für Geräusche machen, geschweige denn, wie die Kleinen aussehen! Definitiv ein Highlight. Absolut top, absolut empfehlenswert :) danke für diesen tollen Platz!

Das war eine tolle Zeit bei Euch!❤️ Ein wirklich besonderer Ort, mit historischen Hintergrund und tollen Autos. Ein schöner Stellplatz in der Natur. Außergewöhnliche Hühner, Pfauen, Fasane und beruhigendes Vogelgezwitscher. Die Feuerschale nicht zu vergessen..😄 Ihr beide seit total nett und sind sehr dankbar, dass wir bei Euch zu Gast sein durften und wir kommen garantiert demnächst nochmal wieder, wenn wir dürfen.. ❤️ Herzlichen Dank, Susanne und Oliver.
