A natural area directly on the mill pond of the Bruchmühlen watermill. The Bruchmühlen is the oldest mill still working in the district. It was first mentioned in documents in 1370. It is located in the Heiligenberg nature reserve. In the climatic health resort with a wonderful view of the old mill building, mill pond and Heiligenberg nature reserve. Quiet. Many marked hiking and cycling trails lead from the mill, e-bikes can be rented at the mill. A rowing boat is available on the mill pond. Bruchhausen-Vilsen has the oldest railway museum in Germany. Milling demonstrations take place in the mill twice a month. The mill has WiFi that reaches the pitches, and there is a power connection on the pitch.
