About the site
This family-friendly campsite is located on the old Blumenhagen estate in the middle of the Mecklenburg Lake District. Just 50 meters from your spot and in absolute peace and quiet, you will find the shore of Lake Mürtzsee with a jetty, natural bathing area and our rowing boat. The rowing boat and a SUP can be used at any time to relax on the water, watch the romantic sunset or simply enjoy the peaceful tranquility of the lake. Blumenhagen, located between both parts of the Müritz National Park, is a fantastic area for hikers, anglers, and cyclists. The residential town of Neustrelitz, just 6 km away, with its beautiful architecture and shopping opportunities, is also ideal for nature lovers, outdoor sports enthusiasts, and those seeking peace and adventure. You're welcome to use the fire pit, a children's playhouse, a large trampoline, and our garden shed. There's a filtered drinking water tap. Electricity is available for an optional €4 per night. Unfortunately, keeping dogs is not possible here. Only suitable for self-sufficient travelers. Groups, tents, parties, dirt or garbage disposal are not possible on site. The fire bowl, a children's playhouse, a large trampoline as well as our garden shed and furniture are all available for your use. For a tour on Lake Mürtz you can rent our rowing boat or SUP. There is a filtered drinking water tap and electricity is available optionally for €4/night. Unfortunately, keeping dogs is not possible here. Only suitable for self-sufficient travelers. No groups, no parties possible. Please leave the site and the swimming lake clean and tidy. Wastewater and garbage cannot be disposed of on site.

Hey...even the extended night hasn't changed our opinion of the site. Except that we now know that you can also get water from these two. We hadn't read that, but we still thought it was great... Hey... this place deserves more stars. It's beautiful here. It's also really nice that the boat and sub are easy to use. As is the entire beautiful garden... You can shop in Neustrelitz (about 10 km). It's easily accessible by bike along the road or through the forest/field. Many thanks to Nadine & Paul for letting us stay here and sharing your dream with us. And... for letting us stay an extra night ;) .... Best wishes from Jörg & Kathi from the Westerwald region.

It felt like a big, warm hug when we were allowed to stay with Nadine and Paul. Their estate garden is full of love in every detail. Our vacation on their beautiful piece of earth made us feel completely at home. We are so grateful for their generosity in every sense – their children also shared this with us – and we are already looking forward to seeing them again…

Very friendly and accommodating hosts. A cozy garden with a lake view, a beach, and a rowboat and stand-up paddleboard for free use. Heavenly peace and quiet, with bird concerts. Highly recommended. Great surroundings for cycling and hiking. 5 stars plus. Thank you, dear Paul and dear Nadine, for this wonderful place!
