About the site
Idyllic van parking space for nature lovers! A beautiful country house property awaits you, surrounded by historic monastery buildings, small peaceful and quiet sheep and pure nature. Trostadt is a small village with around 12 inhabitants. Peace and quiet is guaranteed here. In the middle of the village is our old forester's house with the associated historic monastery buildings. Here you can immerse yourself in a bath full of relaxation and historical past. Sanitary facilities: You can access these at any time through a key box (code will be provided when booking). The shower is functional and takes around 10-15 minutes to heat up but then there is nice warm water. To get to the toilets you have to go between two buildings and carefully unhook the fence on one side if it is not already open. Electricity: At the parking space there is a small window in the masonry in which there is a cable drum with a 230V connection. You must bring extra connections with you. Animals: We have small sheep on the premises. Please do not feed or chase them, but feel free to admire them :) We look forward to your inquiries and your visit!

Sehr toller Standplatz in wahnsinnig schöner Umgebung. Alles, was man benötigt, ist vorhanden und sauber. Zudem auch ein netter Kontakt, wir wurden perfekt mit allen Informationen vor Anreise versorgt.

Ein besonderer Platz in einer besonderen Umgebung. Wir waren 2 Nächte da (Dachzelt) und es hat an nichts gefehlt. Die Mauern des Klosters spenden am Nachmittag Schatten und am Morgen kann man in der Morgensonne frühstücken. Mattys Vater hat uns das Anwesen gezeigt und viel darüber erzählt. Sehr interessant, vor Allem wenn man sich (wie wir) für alte Gebäude interessiert. Dusche und Toiletten im Klostergebäude sind topsauber ! Alles in Allem zwei sehr schöne Tage und wir kommen gerne wieder ! PS: Das nächste Mal bringen wir Fahrräder mit, da es auch tolle Radstrecken bei Euch gibt !

Wir sind mit Fahrrad und Zelt die Werra entlang gefahren und waren total froh diesen schönen Platz gefunden zu haben. Der Ort ist wunderschön idyllisch und sehr ruhig, über Dusche und Toilette waren wir happy und abends haben wir noch ein leckeres Bier im benachbarten Gasthof bekommen. Die Gastgeber waren tagsüber auch da und wir hatten ein paar nette Gespräche. Wir können diesen Platz wärmstens weiterempfehlen und würden jederzeit wieder dort schlafen.

Ein wunderschönes Fleckchen Erde ist das hier. Ein wirklich besonderer und wunderbarer Ort zum Campen. Wir haben hier die Ruhe und Idylle und den Sternenhimmel genossen. WC und Dusche sind einfach und sehr sauber. Mehr braucht man nicht. Matty und seine Familie sind sehr herzliche und offene Gastgeber. Sie haben uns am Abend sogar noch eine Möglichkeit zum Essen organisiert. Einfach toll! Danke an Matty und seine Familie für alles und wir kommen sicherlich wieder!
