Hello, I'm Frank Strauch and I've been living on the Strauch adventure farm since 2004. The Oderbruch is characterized by fields, forest, lakes and not to forget the Oder. Our farm is approx. 10km from the Oder, 5km from the Güstebiese Loose (ferry) crossing, 23km from Küstrin, Grenzünergang Hohenwutzen 29km, from Frankfurt Oder 43km. The town of Letschin, the pearl of the Oderbruch, is 5km away. Village there are supermarkets, cinema, banks, gas station, car repair shops and so on. The nearest towns are Seelow 22km, Wriezen 24km, Bad Freienwalde 30km, Frankfurt Oder 43km and Berlin approx. 72km. There is an outdoor pool in Zechin and several lakes in the area, for example the lake in Altfriedland. On our farm there are the following Tiete llamas, sheep, geese, ducks, chickens, dogs and cats. Every 2nd weekend of the month we hold a Hof Trodel and Antique Market, which has been very well received. From time to time there are also festivals on our farm. In the courtyard there is a bistro/cafe which is open for these events. In the driveway there is a Gastrorefrigerator where we present and sell our products and those from the area. Our homeland also has a lot to offer in terms of history, for example - old Fritz - Schinkel - post mill or my ancestor Aegidius Strauch. Have fun and discover the Oderbruch.
