"You don't have to drive far to be far away" We, Waldpark am Apenberg Cornelius and Lukas, open our park to friends and families who like to be in nature. When we are not traveling ourselves we love to be here in the park and hanging out with friends. Our property is on the hillside above a small village. Up here are wonderful campsites in the beech forest with a campfire and a barbecue hut, set up as a kitchen, in the middle of the forest. We care about your well-being with equipment. Ideal for a break. For us, a good time together is the most important thing. You can use the following equipment independently. Here is the distance between the equipment and your pitch: - Dry firewood, ax and hatchet to split yourself with a fire bowl and seating right at your place - Grill and accessories are located at the grill hut (170 m) - Seating in the grill hut (170 m) - Electricity (230 V, use at your own risk) is in the barbecue hut (170 m) - Toilets and showers are in the retro 50s style in the supply house on the ground floor (200 m) - Fresh water withdrawal in the supply house ground floor (200 m) - Tent pitches in the beech forest as well as on our lawn (20 m) - WLAN at the registration in the supply house (200 m) - our private sports field. Der beste Platz für Wald- und Naturliebhaber. Hier steht man mitten im Wald auf einer Lichtung oder unter Bäumen. Hier findet man Ruhe und Entspannung. Wer möchte, kann sofort loswandern in den Wald, ein Lagerfeuer machen, grillen, chillen, ... Entspannung pur. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und herzlich. Es fühlt sich an, wie nach Hause kommen. Die große Küche kann man mit benutzen. Das sollte man allerdings wissen: Die Sanitäranlagen sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber sauber. Es gibt bei den Duschen aber keine Privatsphäre. Es sind Unisex-Gemeinschaftsduschen und Unisex-Toiletten. Und je nach dem wo man steht, ist es weit zu laufen. Strom gibt es nicht überall. Wir werden definitiv wiederkommen.

a very magical place, very nice hosts, fine all round and yet a bit of a shame that i was just passing through. my dog thought it was great too and really enjoyed the woods and meadows.

Basically, the pitches are in a really beautiful and quiet wooded area. Closer to nature is absolutely given here. The many fireplaces, some with a shelter, and the sufficient amount of firewood also invite you to linger there. The two operators are very nice and take care. The sanitary facilities and the kitchen are clean but unheated. And still exude the flair of the previous use by the fire brigade. There is still some potential here. You can put power to the WoMo if you have a sufficiently long cable (>50m). However, due to the provisional installation, one should not demand any major services. ;-) In wet weather you should be careful when approaching the designated parking spaces and if necessary stay on the (straight) paths, otherwise you can quickly get stuck without 4WD. The place is very well suited for relaxing and enjoying nature and still has a lot of potential that the operators can use. We liked it there. We'll stop by again to see how things have progressed there.

It was a great New Year's weekend, especially for our dogs, because it was very quiet in terms of firecrackers. Lukas and Cornelius are great hosts! The project is still in its infancy, so we'll definitely be back to see the progress and experience it all over the summer.
