About the site
Spend the night at our mausoleum on our horse paddock between the local recreation area “Steinhuder Meer” and the spa town “Bad Nenndorf”. Enjoy the peace and quiet on the edge of our small village and learn about the history of our privately owned mausoleum. We look forward to seeing you.

Site rules
Leave the place clean. Take your own trash with you. The mausoleum can be viewed from the outside. No loud music or noise. Do not feed or touch the horses.

Carsten, his partner, and their two dogs gave us a friendly welcome upon arrival. In addition to the Mauseleum, the site also boasts many fruit trees, including apple trees, plums, and mirabelle plums. The site is partially fenced with a blackberry hedge and is located 50 to 100 meters between two quiet roads. At 7.5 meters long and 3.2 meters high, it's still manageable to access the site. It's grassy and somewhat uneven, which didn't bother us. It was a lovely weekend. 🙏
