About the site
Nice pitch with a solid surface, for a maximum of two campers or vans. No toilets or washing facilities! Electricity is available as needed (additional €5/night to be paid to the host on site). With a view over the field, near the Rosenthal Church, it's a great starting point for excursions and hikes to the Hercules Pillars and Saxon Switzerland. Just a stone's throw away is a restaurant with a beer garden and breakfast options. A butcher and an Edeka supermarket are also nearby. The bus stop is a one-minute walk away. The town of Rosenthal offers a swimming spot for cooling off. Dresden and Prague are also within easy reach. We look forward to seeing you! (The setting up of tents/awnings and camping furniture is prohibited by law. Barbecues and open fires are also prohibited. Eating is only permitted in the car. Please respect this.)

The name of the pitch says it all… We first had a great day of hiking in the beautiful nature and then a sensational sunset followed by a peaceful night. Great parking space, flat and spacious area and panoramic views… Happy to come back anytime!

Beautiful spot at the end of the small village with a direct view over a vast field. Next door is a church that rings every now and then. A great starting point for a hike 👍

A very well-located and clean place. Lovely and friendly hosts...it's just a shame we didn't meet Jenny until the third day. As “unfamiliar” people, we would have appreciated some tips for our tours.

A beautiful spot in the village, at the edge of a field. A short walk to the shops and the beautiful Hercules Columns. We received a warm welcome from the landlord and had some pleasant small talk. Highly recommended; we'll be back.
