About the site
View of our small fjord. The Kerspe Dam, right on our doorstep, is unfortunately not accessible because it's a drinking water reservoir. You'll be standing above the riding arena, on a meadow under oak trees. In our old dairy kitchen, you'll find a seating area, a microwave, a coffee machine, a kettle, and a two-burner stove. There's also a small bathroom with a shower. A sauna with a view of the cowshed is available upon request. We offer our own honey, eggs, vegetables, and herbs from our own garden (depending on the season). A varied hiking, biking, and horseback riding trail is right on our doorstep. You can bring your dog. Horses are also welcome (but only upon request). There are outdoor pools and dams nearby. You can book yoga classes with me.

We received a very friendly welcome from Petra, and from our campsite we had a beautiful view of the Kerspe Dam. Everything you need and much more is there. A great bathroom with a shower and the option to use the sauna. The next morning, Petra surprised us with fresh eggs from happy hens. Simply a wonderful stay; we'd love to come back.

We had a great time with Petra and Martin and their dog Mara ❤️, which means: a great team, friendly and relaxed hosts, and so much more... Nature, peace, time... eggs in the morning, fire in the evening... what more could you possibly need? (to be continued...)

Continuation/Part 2: After we had already enjoyed the welcome, the instructions and the place, the desire for more was born immediately and so what had to happen happened: Rebook... another 3 days; another 3 days for us, another 3 days in the rain, with sunshine and good cheer, a campfire, hearty conversations, and the affection of a female dog who could easily have been "ours"... We felt welcome (in the most beautiful way)!
