The forest island is a raised meadow at the edge of an idyllic village of 60 inhabitants. Directly adjacent is a small coniferous forest reserve planted by my grandparents. The meadow offers stable ground, so there's no danger of getting stuck, even in rain. Here you can enjoy pure nature and tranquility; the nearest neighbors and streetlights are a good distance away. The only thing you'll hear is birdsong and maybe the occasional cow. On clear nights, you can marvel at the Milky Way. A few trees provide shade, and in summer, the view is direct, with a sunset on the Gollenberg. In winter the meadow is almost completely surrounded by water and in summer the surrounding fields are the habitat of wild animals such as deer and hares. Within walking distance there are canals and streams that invite you to stroll and fish, and Lake Kleßener See offers a very nice swimming spot, just 5 minutes away by car and 20 minutes by bike. You have approximately 300 square meters at your disposal, with enough space for a maximum of six people. The meadow is not directly overlooked, so you have privacy and peace, and there is only one pitch available. Check-in and check-out are always around 2 p.m., and you can choose your arrival time; it's essentially self-check-in.
