Welcome to La Bisentina - A Nature Retreat Near Prato! Dear nature lovers and adventurers, We welcome you to La Bisentina, a private farm with free-roaming animals. Here, you can experience the beauty of camping in a relaxing atmosphere, just a stone's throw from Prato. Our private area, located just steps from the main road, can accommodate up to 2 or 3 campers at a time. Staying on our estate, you'll have the opportunity to fully immerse yourself in nature. You can stroll through our private pine forest, make friends with the animals that live here, and discover the beauty of the estate. Upon request, you can use the picnic area in the olive grove and relax under the pine trees. For families with children, there's a dedicated area, separate from the animals. Our area offers electricity, well water, and dry toilets for a worry-free camping experience. The Bisenzio River flows just 50 meters away, perfect for cooling off and diving from a natural rock. La Bisentina's location is ideal. We're just a 15-minute drive from the center of Prato and about half an hour from Florence and Pistoia, allowing you to explore the surrounding cities and wonders. We're thrilled to welcome you to La Bisentina and make your camping experience unforgettable. Book now and enjoy the tranquility of the Tuscan countryside. In order to best support your vacation, we recommend that you let us know in advance about your accommodation type (tent, campervan, etc.), your arrival time, whether you have pets, and any other needs (running water, restrooms, etc.). We are sorry, in November the river flooded and we are still repairing the damage, we are not able to welcome you at the moment. We hope to restore the area soon and provide you with the best travel opportunity. Actually we can give you a place outside the property, close the farm. Best solution for you is an autocaravan with igienic service inside. Otherwise we will find the way to enjoy for best. Please call at +39-3289894114 and confirm your arrival time already you can.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt mit gemischten Gefühlen. Der Besitzer ist ohne Frage eine außerordentlich herzliche und bemühte Gastgeberpersönlichkeit. Er hat sich besonders darum gekümmert, dass sich unsere beiden Hunde mit seinen vier Hunden gut verstanden, was wir sehr zu schätzen wussten. Eine besonders nette Geste war die geschenkte Wassermelone – vielen Dank dafür! Der Platz selbst entsprach leider nicht ganz unseren Erwartungen und wirkte etwas ungepflegt. Die Lage ist für Ruhesuchende leider nicht ideal: Eine vielbefahrene Hauptstraße direkt nebenan sowie die nahe Bahnlinie sorgen für einen durchgehenden Geräuschpegel, der auch nachts spürbar ist. Frühaufsteher werden zudem pünktlich um 5 Uhr vom Hahn geweckt. Der Zugang zum Fluss ist öffentlich und gegenüber auf der anderen Straßenseite, nicht direkt auf dem Grundstück. Fazit: Ein Platz für Camper, die einen sehr freundlichen Gastgeber suchen und dem Trubel nichts entgegenzusetzen haben. Für einen ruhigen Urlaub in der Natur leider nicht zu empfehlen.

Really friendly, lots of free roaming animals, sadly the toilet wasn't very hygienic, but the place was a great experience overall! Better communicate early about arrival.

Cancellation policy
For a full refund, you must cancel at least 7 days before your arrival date. If you cancel between 3 and 7 days before arrival, you will receive a 50% refund. If you cancel less than 3 days before arrival, no refund is possible.
Additional services (e.g., bread delivery, bike rental) are not affected by the cancellation policy and are fully refundable. Additional overnight costs (electricity, fresh water, toilet, and shower), however, are subject to the regular cancellation policy. Additional services and additional overnight costs cannot be canceled individually.
