About the site
Whether north, south, east or west, you're in the best position at #krippnerhof. Whether with a motorhome, caravan, camper or tent, EVERYONE is ❤️Welcome. Our farm is located directly on the edge of the forest, with a wonderful panoramic view of the Thierstein castle ruins. In the middle of nowhere and yet central: The A93 Thierstein/Höchstädt motorway exit is only 2 km away (not within earshot!) and the Czech border (day trips) is only 9 km away. In addition to four children, our hobby farm is also home to dogs, cats, sheep and chickens. Activities: Cycling and hiking trails from the farm, geocaching, porcelain town of Selb, rock labyrinth and bird of prey park in Wunsiedel, Czech spa towns (Franzensbad, Marienbad) swimming opportunities (approx. 8 km) Visiting the Krippner family. Directions: A93 between Weiden and Hof, exit Thierstein/Höchstädt Electricity: if absolutely necessary, but no air conditioning or heating, possible after consultation

Schon im Vorfeld wurden telefonisch Dinge geklärt. Am Tag des Abkommens, wurden wir von der Familie herzlich empfangen. Dabei wurden die Örtlichkeiten erklärt bzw. darauf hingewiesen, das Beschreibungen auf Grund der Witterung aktuell nicht nutzbar sind, als Camper weiß man das auch. Auch die Kinder vor Ort, freuten sich, dass sie für einen begrenzten Zeitraum Spielkameraden mit unseren Enkeln gefunden hatten. Sollten wir noch einmal in dieser Gegend unterwegs sein, würden wir gerne noch einmal vorbei schauen.

Sehr freundlicher Empfang und schöne Sicht auf die Burg. Zum Duschen hat man die Wahl, entweder Solardusche oder Duschhäuschen ohne Dach.

Toller Stellplatz mit freier Platzwahl und sehr nettem Empfang. Ruhige Lage, perfekt zum Abschalten. Es gibt einen kleinen SB-Laden mit Marmelade, Dosenwurst und gekühlten Getränken – das frische Fassbier kommt direkt von der Besitzerin! Weißwurstfrühstück auf Wunsch möglich. Absolut empfehlenswert – ich komme gerne wieder.
