Our pitch in Syracuse, located in a privileged position near the sea, offers ample space just 5 km from the center of Syracuse. A short distance away, just 1 km, are the picturesque salt pans, while the Plemmirio Nature Reserve, a paradise for nature lovers and water sports, is just 3 km away. For those who want to explore the area on two wheels, there is the Plemmirio cycle path that will allow you to slowly savour the natural charm of Plemmirio (details available here: Ortigia - Plemmirio by MTB). This pitch is ideal for those looking for a camping experience close to the sea and the cultural and historical treasures of Syracuse. Pleasant contact, clean facility. Highly recommended.

You stay in the private garden of a B&B. The owner is very hospitable and gives you the immediate feeling all is good. Ground is level and drains well. You hear the road next door due to the fact they drive much faster than the allowed 50kmh, but the road isn’t very busy. Nights are quiet. We spend four nights in total. Riding the bike to Siracusa is very doable otherwise there is a bus stop right in front.

The host, Giuliana, is very kind and helpful. Her pitches are a little paradise. It's only a 20-minute bike ride to Syracuse. I felt very comfortable and would gladly come back. Thank you!
