About the site
Dear campers, We warmly welcome you to our spacious meadow in the beautiful Eifel region. My husband and I live with our calm livestock guardian dog and two cats in a rustic wooden house on our 8,000 square meter property in the Northern Eifel. Surrounded by mystical forests, wild streams, and green meadows, we offer three year-round pitches for campers, RVs, and other vehicles. Location: We are located at the southernmost point of North Rhine-Westphalia, just a stone's throw from the German-Belgian border and Rhineland-Palatinate. If you enjoy waking up in nature, being woken by birdsong, and gazing into the distance, then you've come to the right place! Cycling is also easily possible. The Vennbahn Cycle Path (towards Lake Bütgenbach), the Kyll Cycle Path, and mountain bike trails through the forest are all nearby. Hiking enthusiasts shouldn't miss the breathtaking hiking trails in East Belgium, the High Fens (Europe's largest raised bog), or right on our doorstep. The Mullerthal in Luxembourg is about an hour away and also worth a stop. Distances: - 1 km: Belgian supermarket, chip shop, petrol station, electric charging station - 5 km: Kronenburg (medieval townscape / castle ruins / Kronenburger Lake) - 13 km: Lake Bütgenbach - 18 km: Prüm (shopping opportunities in Rhineland-Palatinate) - 30 km: Monschau (historic town center with half-timbered houses) + hike in the Perlenbachtal valley - 40 km: High Fens - 60 km: Aachen Note: We are located in a spa town - the tourist tax of EUR 1.50 per person/day is already included in the price for 2 people. Additional persons over 13 years of age must pay the tourist tax on site. A composting toilet is available. Firewood must be brought along.

The place was very nice, with a beautiful, expansive view of nature. Getting in and out was a bit difficult with a large motorhome, but doable.

We were able to spend two nights on this beautiful property. A dream spot: nature, peace, and relaxation. Perfect for hiking and biking. Very friendly hosts!

Super beautiful place, quiet & in the middle of nature! We felt very comfortable and would love to come back! A fire pit, a toilet, and everything else are available. 🙃

It was a fantastic weekend with Melissa on her huge property near the Belgian border. Melissa gave us a super warm welcome and a completely uncomplicated introduction. The sheer size of the available space was truly overwhelming ;-) We ended up parked on the meadow with three vehicles, but with so much extra space, it was pure luxury. The night was quiet, the sky clear, and a magnificent sunrise—what more could you want? We'd love to come back.
