If you're already grinning, sharpening your axe, or checking your sunscreen supplies, then we've probably done EVERYTHING right.... Why don't you just come and visit us, say "Mellon", and take a seat in the throne room.... ++++++++++++++++++++++ Our pitch is in a completely secluded location with no other campers. You are standing in Walhalla right on the paddock trail with battle horses, and DIRECTLY on a quaint river in the heart of the historically Germanic Lippe region. You'll be woken up by the rooster, not your mobile phone. We have the Externsteine, the Hermann Monument, the Donoper Ponds and the "Real Germans". Walhalla doesn't offer a commercial pitch with 5-star sanitary facilities, a manicured, level English lawn, or geraniums in pots, BUT it offers you the REAL vanside feeling.... That's exactly what you want! LET'S GO > A natural sandy beach on both sides of the ship invites you to experience Kattegat romance, and the cold, clear water creates a complexion that would make even Baldur envious! The large trees provide shade, and with a bit of luck and quiet, you might get a visit from the kingfisher, the nutria, our sand lizards, the pheasant Günni, the tame drake, fairies, and dwarves. Take your time and enjoy the sight of the fireflies and listen to the grasshoppers! ☆☆ Beautiful Nordic-style decorations and plenty of fairy lights in the old trees create a Viking feeling day and night ☆☆ The clatter of hooves, the snorting of horses, the singing of birds and the splashing of the nearby waterfall provide the final ultimatum: freedom in Valhalla. From the campsite, you can take a path to sit directly by the waterfall and simply relax or watch the two horses in the pasture or paddock trail. With a tent you can even camp right up to 1m from the water. Our Walhalla covers an area of about 1/4 hectare, fenced with electric fencing. Our Viking boat, the Ragnarök, is firmly and securely mounted on a tree stump. With a view over a stream and pasture, it's the perfect sun deck and invites you to chill, raid, murder, and pillage.... With us, you can enjoy peace and quiet and the idyllic setting of the Shire, Valhalla, or wherever you want to be. Loud parties are not welcome here... The spot can only be booked once, so you/you all are completely ALONE, UNOBSERVED by other campers. But we have our Prancing Pony... This is a small tip shop right on the square where cutlery, lighters, information about the square, sightseeing, as well as drinks, canned goods, tea, books and anything else you might forget are stored. ++++++++++++++++++++++ Arrival from 3:30 pm / Departure until 11:30 am +++++++++++++++++++ Here's what you should know: You have to be self-sufficient here... We have nature but no electricity, but you'll be close to the gods! Opposite the square, behind the stream, the Lippe regional train occasionally passes by, its presence and noise varying depending on the amount of foliage. (Not at night) Walhalla is three-quarters hidden by a large slope and cannot be seen. ++++++++++++++++++++ Since we are very busy with work, we will not wait for your arrival. For us, quiet really means quiet.
