About the site
Asphalted area in a quiet location on our 18th-century farm, between the new log cabin and the rustic barn. Meadows and forests with many animals as your closest neighbors (see photo). Here you can observe foxes, cranes, deer, and elk up close, depending on the season and time of day. Hiking trail and forest paths to a lake, 20 min by bike (see picture). Sandy beach on the river, shops and gas station (with gas) 10 minutes away by car, see picture. Depending on availability, our warm tub, snowshoes, bicycles, paintball, inflatable boat, and hammock can be rented for a fee. Or simply enjoy the peace and quiet.

= No smoking, noise or garbage on the property and in the forest out of consideration for the other residents, tenants, guest house (Airbnb) and wild animals. = Open fires are only permitted in the fire pit, which can be shared with other guests upon request. Please bring your own wood, which can be purchased from "Europris" (Flisa), for example. = Use of the treehouse is entirely at your own risk and liability. Stability must be checked before use, especially after severe weather. = A booking does not guarantee or automatically grant access to the use of the described equipment (tubs, bicycles, etc.)! = The rental price includes 220V AC electricity usage. However, this is subject to the condition that no appliances consume more than 1000W for a long period of time, such as electric heaters, instantaneous water heaters, fast chargers, etc. This is due to the sometimes extremely high electricity costs, which can change hourly in Norway. = Water withdrawal by arrangement. = Dogs must be kept on a leash and their droppings must be picked up in dog bags provided. = No parties. David, Frida, and the children are truly friendly and open people. We felt at home right away. The property is incredibly beautiful, and the view is fantastic! We were able to park on a flat area, giving us the meadow as our front yard—perfect for our kids. You can even take a short walk into the woods from the property. See you next time!
