About the site
Welcome to Rügen Your pitch is located at the edge of our 1500 square meter garden on the beautiful island of Rügen—where the hare and the fox say goodnight. It's very quiet here and the internet connection is poor, but you have a much better connection: that to nature and the water. Just the thing for rest and relaxation. For those who don't want to completely escape from everyday life, we can offer Wi-Fi. The Baltic Sea resort of Binz is about a 10-minute drive away. From here, you can enjoy the sea, explore the entire island, go shopping, or dine at one of the numerous restaurants. Pudus is also a 10-minute drive away. Here, you'll find a large palace garden and the opportunity to walk to Lauterbach's small harbor. Karl's Strawberry Farm is about a 5-minute drive away. On the island of Rügen, the possibilities are endless: excursions on foot or on and around the water.

Susan was a very attentive host and immediately welcomed me with coffee. You stand in the back garden next to a trailer (which is still under construction). You don't have a clear view of the surrounding nature, but rather of the garden next to the house. The location is great for exploring the island. However, if you're looking for camping close to nature and solitude, this isn't the place for you.

We received a very warm welcome from Marco. The homemade currant limeade is truly delicious! We only spent one night here, but after a long day in Binz, this spot is perfectly located and offers peace and quiet after a busy day. The next morning, we were able to take advantage of the great location as well, being practically just around the corner from Karl's Adventure Village.

We give 5 out of 5 ⭐️s for our stay in Silvitz with Susann and her family. We had a lovely, relaxing few days and a great base for excursions by bike or car. We'd definitely love to come back!
