About the site
Several parking spaces are available on a large farm property, conveniently located in the middle of a tiny village (5 km from the A4 motorway, Bucha exit) in the "classic triangle" of Weimar-Jena-Rudolstadt. A meadow is also adjacent. Numerous excursion and hiking destinations are nearby along the Saale River, with many historic castles and palaces (Dornburg Castle, Leuchtenburg, Heidecksburg, etc.). The Zeiss city of Jena can be reached in 15 minutes by car. Weimar, with its numerous sights, is 20 minutes away.

For an afternoon coffee break, I offer a freshly baked Thuringian specialty, the "Prophetenkuchen" (Prophet Cake). Upon request, I also offer a whole tray, because experience shows that one piece isn't enough. The tray costs 12 euros. Other cakes and tarts are also baked upon request.

Weiterhin war alles prima. Ich hatte meinen Aufenthalt verlängert und habe die Zeit hier für Ausflüge nach Jena und Weimar genutzt.

Ich wurde von Barbara und ihren Mann bei Abkunft freundlich empfangen und auf dem Stellplatz eingewiesen und dann gab es zur Begrüssung erst mal Kaffee und Kuchen. Ansonsten ist alles wie beschrieben, sehr ruhig gelegen und der Weg nach Jena oder Weimar ist nicht weit. Ich habe gleich noch ein paar Tage drangehängt, damit ich mir auch Weinar ansehen kann.

Nach einem sehr herzlichen Empfang wurde ich zu einem ausgiebigen Kaffee eingeladen. Der Platz mit der Möglichkeit von Strom ist sehr zu empfehlen. Ich komme gerne wieder. Vielen lieben Dank
