Dear campers, from April to September please book at least 2 nights on weekends - thank you! Welcome to our little cottage in Drensteinfurt! You can camp here with up to 8 people; children and dogs are very welcome. First and foremost, an important note: Please be aware that you ALWAYS have to book the bathroom separately. I don't want to mislead you into thinking there's a cheap price, but I simply can't present it any other way on this platform. This means that on top of the VanSite price of €39/night, you'll need to add €11/night for the bathroom. We do not rent the site without the bathroom. Now, some information about our location: 🌞 You can enjoy our garden all to yourselves (single pitch) 🌞 You camp under fruit trees or on our meadow with a view of our mill tower. 🌞 You have your own bathroom with toilet and shower. 🌞 You can store your bicycles or whatever else in our barn. 🌞 You can use our barrel sauna and the rain shower under the linden tree. 🌞 You are also welcome to borrow the fire bowl or a grill. 🌞 We have provided a refrigerator with various drinks (water, cola, beer, wine) for our guests. You can also get eggs from happy hens there, as well as pear and apple juice in 5-liter cartons. 🌞 For children there is a swing and a small sandbox with toys. 🌞 Arrival from 2 pm, departure by 1 pm. If no one is there before/arrives after, individual arrival and departure are possible. The orchard has been home to fruit trees of old, endangered varieties for 80-100 years. As part of the NABU orchard project, we have planted many new old trees to sustainably protect these heritage fruit varieties from extinction. The trees bear fruit, which you are welcome to help yourselves to. You will also find plenty of berries. The mill tower is always a highlight. It was built at the end of the 1800s and lost its sails early on due to a fire. Until its closure, the mill was powered by a combined heat and power plant. Today, the tower is a listed monument and provides a home for kestrels, owls, and corvids. In spring and summer, kestrels nest and raise their young there, which you can observe. At night, you'll often hear the call of our tawny owls. There are also plenty of hares and pheasants, and occasionally, though rarely, you might spot a deer. By booking, you agree to the following terms: - Please inform us in advance if there are animals on board. - Please keep your animals under constant supervision while they are on our property. Guests who nevertheless allow their animals to roam freely must leave the premises immediately. No refunds will be issued in this case. PRICES - including bathroom with shower - including 4 kWh of electricity 🔅from the third person onwards: - Adults (16 years and over) 10 euros - Children aged 4 and over: 7 euros - Prices for other vehicles upon request 🔅Sauna: €22 for 2.5 hours for one or two people. More people by arrangement. 🔅Fire bowl or grill is free of charge. Wood: 5 euros or bring your own, as is charcoal. We'd love for you to visit! Here you'll find two things: the peace and quiet of country life, and the sounds of country life. Our mill isn't located in the truly remote, isolated countryside, completely free from the noise of civilization. However, most road noise is filtered out by the farm buildings situated between your garden and the road, which runs approximately 150 meters in front of our property.
