We offer a place for campers on historic grounds, between the forest and the river, below a castle ruin and an adjacent historic farm. In the morning, you may find a horse, donkey or goat standing in front of your tent to greet you. At night, the owls call you to go to sleep. If you love pure nature, you've come to the right place, because the site is surrounded by lots of nature/forest. If you wish, you can also spend the night in the private forest. The meadow stretches from the car park for about 1 km to the forest. You can get directly to the private property via a small bridge from the B463. -Water can be fetched from the Nagold river, which flows through our property, or directly from the farm. -Dining room with table football, various Toys for children available & various books to borrow (opening times: 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.) -Hot drinks, cold drinks, ice cream and eggs (while supplies last) are also offered. -Trash cans available. -Grill grate available on request. (Open fireplaces permitted seasonally due to fire hazard - alternatively there is a fire barrel) Firewood must be brought with you or collected in the area. !!!The additional services offered, as well as the toilet, are on the adjacent historic farm!!! There are shops, as well as bakeries, cafes and restaurants in the nearby towns (each 4 minutes drive away) Calw & Wildberg. You can buy our own chicken eggs & duck eggs from us. (While supplies last) -The Nagold river flows through our property and invites you to cool off on hot days. -The meadow is directly below the Waldeck castle ruins (approx. 7 minutes walk away). -Several sandstone rocks also emerge from the mountain, which are ideal for bouldering. -Furthermore, it is a 4-minute drive to the birthplace of Hermann Hesse in Calw. -The Shepherd's Run town of Wildberg is also a 4-minute drive away. -The Xanderklinge, which impresses with its small waterfalls, is in the immediate vicinity. -A visit to the silver mine in Neubulach is also always worthwhile. -Or a tour of the old town in Hirsau. -As well as the castle ruins in Bad Teinach/Zavelstein. -A hiking and cycling path runs along the edge of the property, which takes you quickly to the adjacent train station in Bad Teinach (30-45 minutes on foot). -There is a thermal bath in Bad Teinach.
