About the site
Our barn is your gateway to the countryside. As soon as you have driven through the barn with your bus and greeted our T2 "Timmy", you go down a short gravel path and you are standing in the middle of our alpacas' pasture. Here you are surrounded by green meadows, trees, a small stream and the curious and at the same time shy New World camelids. Watch the busy bees at work and wish the horses in the neighboring paddock a nice day. From here you can explore nature on foot or by bike, have a delicious meal in the nearby Pörrbacher Hof (restaurant with beer garden) (closed Monday & Tuesday) and enjoy country life. We can offer guided bike tours in the North Palatinate mountains ourselves by arrangement. There are numerous other leisure activities in the area. We are happy to inform you about them. If you would like to make a fire/barbecue, just talk to us about it. We will show you where and how and can lend you a fire bowl if required. Please understand that we cannot allow barbecuing due to persistent dry weather. Please note that we do not offer a toilet on our pitch and it is therefore necessary that you bring your own solution. Since you are standing on our animals' pasture, a simple folding spade is not sufficient for this ;) The pitch is only partially suitable for motorhomes. In any case only up to a maximum length of 7.5 metres. If the vehicle is particularly long behind the rear axle, it could be difficult to manage the gravel path. So feel free to ask if you are not sure :)

Site rules
We expect common sense and respect for animals and other people's property. As you are in the middle of nature, this means that you don't leave any rubbish lying around and that you handle fire carefully. Otherwise, you can ask us anything. We will do our best to make your stay with us as pleasant as possible.

We spent a few wonderful days at Kai's campsite and enjoyed every minute! The site is quiet, well-maintained, and surrounded by nature – perfect for switching off and simply unwinding. The highlight, of course, was the lovely alpacas grazing right in front of the van—a truly unique experience! 🦙✨ Kai is a fantastic host, warm and helpful, and we immediately felt welcome. The surrounding area also offers wonderful hikes and walks, ideal for anyone looking to slow down. We highly recommend this campsite to anyone who loves nature, peace, and something special. Definitely not our last visit! 🌿

This campsite is located on the edge of an idyllic village. Directly behind the campsite, the property opens into nature and the beautiful landscape. This makes it easy to go on worthwhile hikes and walks. The alpacas (and the goats next to them) create a peaceful atmosphere, and it's fun to watch them. We had a lovely and very peaceful stay. The hosts are very friendly and helpful - we felt comfortable and welcome.

A beautiful campsite in a quiet, green setting – with alpacas as our animal neighbors and plenty of nature all around. Perfect for unwinding, hiking, and enjoying the outdoors. Anyone who loves unique places will feel at home here. Host Kai gave us a warm welcome and made us feel completely at home.

Everything was great! Friendly owners, nice place. The alpacas are curious, like to come up to you, and are very entertaining.

Cancellation policy
You can cancel your booking free of charge up to 3 days before your arrival date and receive a full refund. If you cancel later, you will receive 50% of the booking amount back.
Additional services (e.g., bread delivery, bike rental) are not affected by the cancellation policy and are fully refundable. Additional overnight costs (electricity, fresh water, toilet, and shower), however, are subject to the regular cancellation policy. Additional services and additional overnight costs cannot be canceled individually.
